ANWAR “The dreams of Dark Night”

THEME: This is a story of an ordinary man who struggles in his life to fulfill his dream which is yet in darkness. This movie wants to depict about everyone’s dream or desire which only few can fulfill. Rest got lost in darkness of their struggling life and responsibility towards family and society.

REVIEW: Filmmaker has tried to show it with Anwar who is a garbage collector. He has only dream of being a filmmaker. During his free time he watches movies in that slum area. He works overtime and saves some money from his daily earnings. He belongs to a very low family of a village of west Bengal near Bangaladesh border. He rush towards Mehrauli of Delhi to fulfill his dream. He has to face many problems in this stranger city. Some policemen also creates problems for him to live in that slum area and treats as infiltrators of Bangaladesh and gave strict instructions to get registered for his work and garbage trolly. He gave some proofs of being an Indian citizen. He has another brother who resides in his village and takes care of his farms. His land was under govt. for which he has to pay Rs.3000/- to get it back.

One day he got some money and contacted the filmmaker to create a movie of his own. But still he can’t fulfill the budget of the movie. Filmmaker was very much influenced by his dignity and thinks of contribution in his dream and be a part of it. Anwar then keep on thinking about his movie. His mind gets diverted from his works. While doing his work all the movie posters n scenes keep coming in his mind. Filmmaker arranges projectors, generators and a small theater of Anwar’s dream in his village and Here’s the show begins…..

Now he is earning more than a doctor of his village.

REPORT: The movie theme and storyline was quite good. Filmmaker has very well expressed the feelings of individual one. All the technicians were very much experienced.
